Jacobs Athletic Boosters: 2025–2026 Impact
Through the dedication of our volunteers and community support, the Jacobs Athletic Boosters donated $42,292.76 to the Jacobs High School Athletic Department during the 2025–2026 school year. These contributions directly enhance the experience, safety, and opportunities for our student-athletes across multiple sports.
Key Investments This Year
HUDL Live Streaming & Film Breakdown – $24,500
Boosters funded HUDL services that allow games hosted at Jacobs High School to be live-streamed for families and fans. The system also provides advanced film breakdown used by teams for performance analysis and development. Sports benefiting include:
- Football
- Flag Football
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Soccer
- Lacrosse
- Baseball
- Softball
- Wrestling
Senior Athlete Banners – $6,250
Senior banners celebrate and recognize graduating athletes for their dedication and accomplishments. These banners are displayed at athletic facilities and help honor the legacy of our senior class.
Game Ready Recovery System – $6,542.76
This advanced treatment system combines cold therapy and compression to rapidly reduce pain and swelling from injuries such as sprains and strains. The device supports faster recovery after competitions and can treat two athletes simultaneously, benefiting athletes across all sports programs.
New Cheerleading Competition Mats – $5,000
Funding has been approved to replace the cheer mats, which are nearly 20 years old. The new mats will:
- Improve athlete safety during tumbling and stunts
- Meet IHSA competition standards
- Eliminate hazards caused by worn and separating mats
- Allow Jacobs to host cheer competitions using its own equipment
- Improve the experience of the Golden Eagle Invite, helping generate additional funds for school programs
Student Scholarships – $4,000 Annually
Each year, the Boosters award four student-athletes scholarships totaling $4,000 to support graduates as they continue their education beyond high school.
Looking Ahead
The Boosters will vote in May 2026 on the next round of funding requests from the Athletic Department for the 2026–2027 school year.
